I’m so excited to share my new Gabrielle bag with you guys, it was love at first sight for me. Some people won’t like the shape and look, but I really love it😍. I have tried it a few times and I am so lucky that my birthday is coming in a few weeks – so it was a good excuse to get the bag. 🙈
When Gabrielle Chanel first designed the “Gabrielle bag” in 1955, it was created with a few key factors in mind: functionality and freedom of movement. Exactly 30 years later, Karl Lagerfeld has updated Gabrielle bags and brought them in our lives again. When Chanel displayed the collection for the first time in their Spring/Summer 2017 collection, not only it was a sign of the brand’s futuristic image, but also it was a proof of Coco Chanel’s creative vision.

Karl Lagerfeld’s inspiration comes originally from masculinity and functionality of the bag. He is working with Chanel ambassadors Kristen Steward, Pharell Williams and Caroline de Maigret in the advertisement campaign.
Gabrielle is a beautiful bag as well as easy to use. The bottom part of the bag is hard leather and firm but the upper body is light and flexible leather. I found it a bit tricky in the smallest size because of the softness of the leather, bag might loose its shape. The strap is adjustable and there is a mix of silver and gold chain with the leather. Another extraordinary detail is that you can wear the bag in so many different styles, such as cross body, shoulder, backpack .. All together, it’s a beautiful and functional bag. We already know that Paris Cosmopolite has some beautiful tweed Gabrielle bags coming in June, I feel like Gabrielle will be the next boy!
